I believe that it was Scott and/or a few others who asked about how the remodeling job on the RIVERSIDE Hotels Buffet is coming along. The renovations to the buffets entryway, and have just been completed (although there are no signs or artwork on any of the walls yet) and the new bar next to the buffet is done....and open! The brand spanking new rest rooms next to the buffet are done as well, and they (well, at least the MENS rest room) are super nice....on par with a fancy-shmancy Las Vegas palace! The buffets dining room and food-service areas have NOT been remodeled yet. I am told that renovations for the dining and food areas are coming, hopefully to be completed before River Run in April. But, as you can see from the photos, one of the two step-up dining areas (just east of the main dining room) has been removed. I asked a couple of employees what was going to be in this space, but they didnt know. I am figuring that, now that the amusement park-style line area that used to be in the front, which is now replaced by the new bar, will be moved to this area.
