I believe that sugar addiction is one of the most insidious - TopicsExpress

I believe that sugar addiction is one of the most insidious addictions in this country and is affecting millions of people of all ages. Often times, the reaction that sugary foods create are being diagnosed as other diseases such as depression, anxiety, hyperativity. However, one of the things that science clearly identified a long time ago...when blood sugar levels spike from too much sugar, it effects our trytophan levels which affects our serotonin levels...its all connected. And guess what...serotonin is our neurotransmitter that helps us feel up and calm. And something that a lot of people dont know is that serotonin is not only found in our brain but is produced in the intestines as well. Pretty cool, huh! There are many reasons why so many people crave every form of sugar there is and even tho sugary foods taste good going in, they are the root cause of some of the common symptoms of what ails the public...feeling down, fatigued, anxious, achy, bloated and itchy. Big business, brilliant marketing campaigns and the medical industry have all played a role in Americas addiction to sugar which for many, began right from birth with soy-based formulas, juice and of course...pastuerized cows milk. Every day at our store, customer after customer ask us for guidance to kick their sugar addiction. I have great repect for those that are honest enough to acknowledge their truth and courageous enough to do something about it. So if youre one of those people that really want to feel better and reduce sugar cravings, keep it simple...begin your day with quality protein and goods fats and oils and lots of veggies and greens all day long. Chromium polynicotinate or GTF are both good choices for a basic but important trace mineral that supports the pancreas and gymnema (herbal) and l-glutamine (amino acid) can be very supportive as well and some people need a good old fashion parasite cleanse to do the trick. Overall, if youre willing to learn to be kind to your pancreas, it will move you in a positive direction!
