I believe the complexity of human behaviour makes it difficult to draw broad conclusions as to why individuals take or fail to take a course of action. I also believe that whether we understand or approve (and I dont think that when it comes to our clients decisions our approval is required) of what people do, there is a reason for it; even if the individual is not consciously aware of it themselves. I want to post this video because firstly, its very well done and also because Ben makes a couple of really good points here. I am particularly referring to getting started doing the things that take you from point A to point B. Its not lack of willpower, motivation, character, etc. that stops many people from having a transformational experience, but lack of a decision, the initial decision to take just one step forward in the direction you desire to go.
