I believe the greatest thing that has come from electing a Black President is this. Although it has cost us great upset, turmoil, and strife, and now more lives, we have truly begun to see the warts of racism rear its ugly head more and more. it has awakened this generation to see that we as a people, as a country still have a long long long way to go. No community, no race should have to still continue to live in these conditions. I want this generation to begin to realize what actions will get them the real results we are all seeking. This violence will beget more violence. I cannot condone the violence. I will support and understand the anger. I am overcome myself. We must take this and learn as much as we can from it. Our lawyers, our political officials, our business professionals, our grassroot organizations and community activists, we have got to step up everything. We have got to intensify our efforts. We have to speak out stronger and louder and commit to all these efforts with an extreme no-nonsense approach. I love my people. Especially our youth. I want those bright young minds with all that energy to focus it like a laser on making changes and designing a new future for ourselves.
