I believe, there are two big issues that are not addressed in a better way by the current budget. 1) Poverty 2) Education. For poverty, reduce the prices of basic commodities including sugar, wheat etc., or atleast do not increase their prices. These are the basic human necessities and it makes no sense to increase the prices of such commodities. Poor man cannot live with such conditions. Rather increase the prices of all expensive luxury goods (that are imported from outside) including expensive perfumes, imported clothes and shoes, imported watches etc., All products including soft drinks pepsi, coke etc should be banned for import. We should use our own softdrinks. There should be very high tax on all cars greater than 1300 cc. For cars lesser or equal to 800 cc, there should be very little or no tax. For bikes, there should be no tax at all. For low income people, the public transport should be free. For education, keep the HEC working in the same way as it is doing good job. HEC focuses on higher education commission, there should be similar body like HEC that focuses on schools and colleges.
