I believe we are all here for a purpose and have at least one guardian angel. I vaguely remember crawling under a load of freshly clothesline dried clothes on the bed. She pulled me out giggling to check on me. I recall her singing me to sleep with Loretta Lynn on the radio. I remember the cuts from falling off my tricycle and her loving hands covering them with Merthiolate and blowing on it till the pain subsided. I reminisce about stepping on a nail, her wrapping it in fatback and the soreness leaving. I recall vividly when my skull was fractured, hearing voices from the doctors and nurses at Mills clinic whispering I wouldnt make it 72 hours. She held my hand, non stop, prayed and ran them all out of the room, telling them God had a plan for me here on earth and she would not let me pass, happy birthday Mama!
