I believe with every fiber of my being that things don’t just happen. Every experience no matter how painful or uncomfortable is preparation for the next step. Today is no different. Three weeks ago a friend reached out to Jason and asked for his opinion on her business opportunity. He looked into it with a very skeptical eye. To be honest, Jas wanted nothing to do with another “business opportunity”, but he did his homework and determined this to be an opportunity that he couldn’t pass up. Jason felt my involvement with Younique would not be in jeopardy because its compliance area had determined that Jeunesse was not a competing company. Fast forward two weeks and that decision changed. Unfortunately, Younique decided that a Presenter is in a breach of her contract if someone else in the same household is promoting a competing product. I was given 72 hours to decide. Jason and I had many conversations, which included our most trusted mentors. We looked at the pros and cons for both companies and we made a decision that is the best fit for us. Our decision was to pursue Jeunesse full time as a couple, and I submitted my resignation yesterday. Over the last year I’ve been blessed to be coached by women who I greatly respect and admire. These women took extraordinary steps to overcome their own obstacles, and succeed in spite of their circumstances. As a result I’ve learned a great many things that I will carry with me for years to come. I don’t have one negative thing to say about Younique or the culture they’ve built.
