I bought Joe some shorts, t-shirts and shirts at Old Navy, and a 2T Portable Hard Drive for Christmas but there is something else I really wanted to get him. So I spent the last couple of days arranging it. Im supposed to go pick it up at 1pm today in Hollywood, Florida. But my gut was telling me this is not the kind of bomb I should be dropping without checking with him. (God, when did I grow? LOL) So I just texted him this... Babe, I was going to surprise you when you got home but I really need to check with you before I do this. As part of your Christmas gift I arranged to buy one of these little puppies for you. He is an 8 week old Blue Nose Pit Bull. Im picking him up at 1 pm. There is still time to cancel if you dont want me to do this. I wanted you to have the experience of raising a puppy from a young age like youve expressed wanting. Buddy was the same age when I got him. This puppy would be all yours to love and train and spoil. This is too big a life change for you and all of us for me to make without your approval. So please think about it and let me know. Raising a puppy is amazing and wonderful and also a lot of work and trying at times. The decision is yours here. And he texted back... Oh my god. Wow!! I am stunned. And excited. The gray one is sooo cute. Yes. I would love him. Looks like our little family will be growing by one more this Christmas!
