I bought a Choose Your Own Adventure iPad game called 80 Days based off of Jules Vernes Around the World in 80 Days. It is RIDICULOUSLY spectacular and probably the perfect game for me. They upped the steampunk so in some cases, airship was a form of travel, and you can travel to various cities of your choice as long as you reached London in 80 days. Its a combination of a Choose Your Own Adventure and Oregon Trail; instead of dysentry, I caught cholera instead. I was very impressed that the game took into account the history of each region: Austria just joined Hungary, the Yokohama port in Japan just opened, Manila was still under Spanish rule, Native Americans were being moved to reservations, the aftermath of slavery in America was in effect... I was FLOORED by this game that I was reading. Along the way, theres lots of little interactions that affect your trip so the amount of writing to make this game is incredible. So there is a lot of replay value and geography lessons. I will say that I was socked and pleased that your character, who is male, has the option to seduce another man as an action in this game when the opportunity comes up. I think Ill be playing this game for the next few weeks in between writing sessions.
