I bought a Jeep... how a car company can damage their reputation (not that they had a good one) by not looking after the quality of their production and their customer service. When I was about 8, I won a gift voucher at a local hardware store in a table tennis competition. I thought long and hard about what I wanted to buy with it, and settled on a flashlight made in the USA. It was high powered, waterproof...and never worked properly. I was too young to know I could take it back and complain. I was heart broken! How could someone mess up something as simple as making a flashlight? Ive been skeptical about anything made in the USA ever since! The Americans can moan about the state of their economy, but Id love to know what youve bought recently that was made in America and what your thoughts were on that product.
