I bought an item from a couple on Ebay and theres a slight possibility they are ripping me off. Not sure yet, but theyre definitely stalling. The wheels in my mind have started imagining the Judge Judy episode where I sue them for not delivering my GPU. Luckily, I used PayPal to purchase the item and PayPal gave me their email. With this email, I was able to obtain within minutes: (God, I feel like a stalker now. But seriously, this is how silly it is for us to complain (on Facebook no less) about how the government is invading our privacy. We do it to ourselves, too.): 1. His full name (even though he and his wife use an alias on Ebay,) 2. His wifes full name and maiden name. 3. City and state they reside in, 4. When they got married (not that important except that it helped me confirm this was them because their email includes their first initials together, their real last name and the year they got married.) 5. Where they currently work. 6. Model and make of their car and licence plate (Facebook picture of their car.) 7. The church they are members of. 8. Their parents names and FB profiles (and all their information if I wanted it.) 9. Their friends names and FB profiles (and all their information if I wanted it.) 10. Where they hang out... I could obtain more info if I wanted, but I had to stop there. As open as these people are, I can barely imagine they would rip someone off. For that reason, Im giving this couple some more time to deliver. Theyre not big sellers so theyre probably waiting for the item so that they can re-sell it to me. And of course, after stalking their wedding pictures my heart kind of got soft and I started thinking, Awe, theyre a young couple, probably struggling. Theyre also Seventh Day Adventists and I know some very sweet people who are Seventh Day Adventists. Lol!!! What. Is. Wrong. With. Me.??? I definitely would not make it in the Mafia.
