I bought an old beater Garand some years ago, Took it to the range and it worked great, shootin 170 grain rounds. Now not knowing anything at the time I went back to the rsnge and bought more ammo , except all they had was some 180 grain. So I shot that. From that day foreward the rifle has been having some unusual functions like I get 4 or five rounds off and the trigger assembly pops lose.I now know the weapon was never intended for those rounds.Could anyone tell me what I may have damaged?
