I bought my car about a month ago from a big Chevrolet dealership, was told the previous owner traded it on a newer Corvette. I have been asking repeatedly for the previous owners contact info or for them to give him mine. Supposedly the engine was replaced a year ago & I want to ask (for example) whether he used regular or synthetic oil, etc. I bought it knowing there are going to be things wrong with a 36-year-old car & dont want to harass the previous owner, would just like more info. I have to go there today for something else and am prepared to demand satisfaction. Is it reasonable for me to request this?
