I bought some Steam games over the weekend. My Bank of America - TopicsExpress

I bought some Steam games over the weekend. My Bank of America card was then subsequently shut down due to suspicious activity, I was locked out of their website, and then subsequently sent an email telling me to log into their website immediately to verify credit activity. After trying unsuccessfully (at this point I didnt realize they had locked my account before sending me an email telling me to log into my account) on multiple browsers and systems to gain access, I called customer service... and was promptly hung up on. I called again, this time receiving an automated message that was so broken by static that I couldnt make heads or tails of the transactions they were asking me to verify. Hit 0 at least 100 times and it finally transferred me to a representative. They relayed my transactions to me, this time slightly more intelligibly than the automated system I had to suffer through just moments prior. English clearly was not her first language, and theres a good chance she wasnt even located in America - ironic considering the name of the bank, but, hey, I dont mind that American jobs got outsourced to more profit-friendly countries, creating a deficit of low-skill jobs and forcing working Americans into unemployment and even lower-skilled and low-wage jobs, people that already bailed out this supposedly American bank to the tune of billions after they and other banks irresponsibly brought themselves and the global economy to the brink of collapse engaging in risky and criminal behavior, people that lost more than 40% of their wealth since 2008, people that lost their careers so we could reward executive failures with golden parachutes instead of the prison cells they deserve, and people who are now judged by one whole party of a two party system for greater dependency on government hand outs as a result... oh, wait, I do mind, I mind very damn much, but I digress... or do I? Bank of America, my ass. Anyway, I was able to verify all the purchases were legit, and I asked if the woman could stay on the line with me as I verified my online banking account. To which she replied it may become available again after 24 hours. I sarcastically thanked them for watching my back and bid her good day. Its too bad this American bank didnt exhibit the same proactive punishment in the form of protection when Target and several other retailers leaked my credit card information to criminals over the last year, but heaven forbid I want to buy a game on the weekend!
