I bought this axe last year. Now it is a tactical axe and most tactical equipment actually make for a pretty good survival tool, but not this one. I tried it out on chopping but because of its light weight I couldnt really get a good bite. I took it out of the drawer tonight and noticed Mteck put an axe grind on the primary...wrong! After about 4 hours (seriously good steel) I changed it to a grind more meant for a knife and guess what, problem solved.
