We Ethiopian never cared what is being built in UK, USA, ... why they do not leave us alone with our water? I am wondering honestly why European journalists obsessed with Ethiopia. We, the Ethiopian people hate no one, but why people try to make themselves our enemies? What does Egypt has to do with Abay or Nile anyway? Egypt is 2212 km away from the Abay which you called it Nile. We do not even know Nile. Nile is your name, not our rivers name. The name of our rivers is Abay. We were not /are not a colony of Europe before and now. We have nothing to do with Egypt. They need to pay for the water. They have no any right. there is no logic that says Egyptians has to live, eat and Ethiopian die. There is no such logic or philosophy under the sun or above the sun that holds one race above and another race down below. As her excellency, Ms Short Claire of England told to Meles Zenawi in 2004 that Ethiopia is richer than England and it does not need to beg food from UK. She stated that Ethiopia needs to use its water to feed its hungry people because Egypt and Sudan are using it. This is the lady of highest calibre who told us to know our right. She is a source of inspiration for Ethiopian. You stop campaigning for those who bleed your nose. You must stop campaigning against the Ethiopian people. it is you who gave the primitive Arabs our water. We have no obligation to share our water with them. They were stealing our water for so long. They can not have to own water in our backyard. We never had agreement with them to own our water. We will not have in the future. The water is our oil, our gold, our diamond, our precious stone. They have the oil. We have the water. They sell us the toxic oil and they have stealing our water for free. No more free water, they need to pay. The water is from Ethiopian biomes and forests and trees and land, not from Saudi Arabia or Egypt. They have neither direct or indirect contribution. It is time to pay for every cup of the water. Ethiopian have obligation to die and to feed Arabs. If they can sell the toxic oil, why not sell the life giving fresh water? By the way, South Africa buys fresh water from Losethu and USA buys fresh water from Canada. There is no free water. They have to pay. We do not care about their population size. It is their business how many people they are. it is not our business to provide them water. We did not settle them in the deserts. Ethiopians are not responsible for the settlement of Arabs in deserts. We have no anything that forces us or oblige us to negotiate with them. Even involving them in the Dam issue is/was wrong from the beginning. They have no right to tell us what to do or not to do. It is our business to whatever we want with water in our land. You people from Europe, please stop bullying us. We did not invade any country. The water is in our land. You have done a lot of damage to Ethiopia by interfering and deny Ethiopia access to money from wb, imf,... just to support those who bleed your nose. Anyway, we do not need a blessing from anyone to use our resources. No man under the sun has a right to tell us what to do and what not do. Egypt has 80 million people and we have 95 million people. Egyptians are not better than Ethiopian people. Egyptians are not better than Ugadan, Kenyan, Somalian, Tanzanian, Rwandese, Brudian, ... if they think they are better than others, it is their problem. But in Ethiopia, we do not care about race or colour or whatever. Egyptians has no any right even to say anything about the dam. It is none of their business. How we build the dam is our business, we do not an islamicist priest from Arab or Egypt. The sun can stop shinning, the earth can quake, the stars can fall, and the oceans can turn upside down, there is no single man under the sun who can stop or change the dam in any form or shape.
