I built a fire last night on Hadley Point for Mrs Hadleys great grandson, Phinn. The families property manager came down and told me that we were not allowed on the point and had to leave. When I asked why he became volatile in front of me and Phinn. He told me I was a loser and a free loader and needed to get the F off the point now. I told him that this must have nothing to do with anyone but his opinion of me and to have a family member come tell me to get off the point. He asked me what was it I didnt understand? I told him I was building a fire for Mrs Hadleys Great Grandson and another family members son and that I hope he gets what he deserves for this. He got out of his truck, screaming more vulgarities at me, with Phinn present and was going to physically beat me! I told Phinn to get in the car and we left. I called 911 and told them the story and said I wanted to file a police report. They told me they would send an Otsego county Sheriffs deputy out as soon as possible . I dropped Phinn at another family members house and waited at 3 mile point for 40 minutes . No one ever came. I called 911 again and they had a deputy call me back . He told me he had just called the man that had threatened me and spoke to him first. I asked him why he would call that man first ? He hesitated and said that he had called 911 to report me!! And then he told me there was nothing he could do , and it was a civil matter. That he was not going to file any reports. I could care less about myself in this matter. But if you were a family member and your nine year old family member just had to witness a drunk violent employee verbally and almost physically harm a friend of the family , wouldnt that be cause for some sort if reprimand? Nope . This employee is hired by a trust which is controlled by BOA , and has more rights than any of the family members , as well , they must have paid off the Otsego County Sheriff. Not very happy about corporate America and their Fascism right now being thrown in my face in little old Cooperstown ....
