I built these this fall. And... Happy 2day every body...! Today is supposed to be the one day a year that everyone worships a penniless wondering hippie... who preached love and prayed for peace and promotes direct democracy and official accountability... and the end of child hunger and saving the enviroment and WORLD PEACE & UNIVERSAL LOVE and the freedom of good simple living... Yet... In this world, Hippies are still looked down upon... even on this day... It seems that all that which is wrong in the world... selfish materialism, greed, opulent abundance, the monetization of self worth, and compartmentalization of value etc... etc.... Has taken over... and apparently we are all supposed to use our credit cards to say I love you and generate more trash to promote world peace. And pretend to be nice for a day... that one special day a year... When I ask for world peace during the summer, they yell... get a job, hippie! And if ya tell people that Independence is about Love... they think your crazy and just dont understand how things really work. But... ... let your freak flag fly.. everyday. Be who you are. Become who ya wanna. All you beautiful souls out there... keep it up... share love... speak peace... be kindness... embody all that we want to see in the future and make your little corner a better place. We might be freaks... But... The freaks share inherit the Earth Be good stewards of the land. Teach and learn daily. And love one another. Ride the light. Peace And LOVE. Have a non plastic celebration of the winter solstice; the suns resting at its further wintery point and then begins to rise back up to the life of spring... the begining... a new... the re-birth of life... of all life... every year.... So hippy birthday to every one. And to all, a good life.
