I by no means advocate, Police brutality but this is why I have nothing but respect for those who CHOOSE to serve and protect us. They put their lifes before us, to keep us safe and provide us with security. I know, we always hear about what they dont accomplish - but please realize they are out numbered. I myself was a victim of AGGRAVATED ATTEMPTED GRAND THEFT. Did we ever find the man who tried to personally rob me? Hell no!!! But I got to give it to local to them. They tried. I even had detectives come out to my house several times and even to my job, to try and solve the case. I think any person willing to commit a crime, should pay the time, but even with DNA testing - I did not have them throw the man in jail (or should I say, keep him in jail longer (since he was already there for committing a similar crime a couple weeks after my incident)). For one, the picture the detective was showing me did not match up with the picture of the man in my head, of who tried to rob me. Now if I would have been sure it was him - you best believe, I would have done everything within my means to make sure he spent the maximum time possible locked up. I can only imagine the kind of adrenaline that pumps thru Police Officers, when they are put in certain situations. Because God knows, my adrenaline was probably about the only thing that kept me from becoming another victim of theft. Those of you who know me and who have heard all the details of this story, can stop laughing anytime now. Lol. But in a serious note. Thank you, to all of those who took an oath to serve and protect us. For those of you who are corrupt, may you be dealt with by accordingly.
