I call this Sammys Slow Cooker Applesauce because my son loves it so much and his eyes light up everytime i tell him I am making it .Trust me...after you eat this you wont want to buy the jar stuff at the store with all the preservatives anymore...its that good! I cooked mine overnight and woke up to the house smelling fantastic! 8 Apples-peeled and cored and cut into chunks (I use granny smith and sometimes mix Gala) 1tsp cinnamon 1/2 cup water 1/2 cup sugar 4 bartlett pears (optional) (Gives it a little more sweetness) Combine all ingredients in slow cooker Cook on low for 8 hours or High for 3-4 hours 8-10 servings Easy Peasy Yummy!
