I called KBOO radio this morning when Floy Jones was on. I get so worked up waiting in the queue to go on that maybe I sound like a highly-caffeinated psycho (did have morning ration of choc soymilk). But I think my point was valid: The same Republicans who are financing this fiasco are the very same people who sued the City, citing Green Streets as an example of inappropriate spending. Floy responded that they sued because that money had come from the Water Bureau; I replied that I didnt care where it came from: It is a great program which has saved the City tens of millions of dollars in not having to do underground sewer upgrades.
