I called on Your name, O Lord, Out of the lowest pit. You have heard my voice, Do not hide Your ear from my prayer for relief, From my cry for help. You drew near when I called on You; You said, Do not fear! O Lord, You have pleaded my souls cause; You have redeemed my life. Lamentations 3:55-58 Jeremiah was an incredibly faithful man and prophet, he saw Israels blatant sins and turning to false idols and yet he remained faithful to his God, knowing He would one day redeem His children Israel. God is still very much redeeming His children still today, those called from eternity past to come into His presence with grateful and repentant hearts, may we today give thanks as His children for His not giving up on us, but continues to draw us to Himself, the Hungry Hound of Heaven.
