I called the CDC to complain that they got only 1 out of 5 - TopicsExpress

I called the CDC to complain that they got only 1 out of 5 questions correct. According to them, 1. LD does NOT occur throughout the US. In these states without infected ticks that spread Lyme disease, infections are usually the result of travel to a state where the disease is common, especially states in the northeast and upper Great Lakes regions. Please tell me where these states without infected ticks are located! 2. The 2-tier test IS reliable. Really? I have lab results to prove otherwise. 3. LD is NOT transmitted from person to person. What about in utero? 4. and a tick MUST be attached for more than 24 hours to transmit disease. So, you would be willing to have an infected tick attached to you for 23 hours? Please call and complain, too. 800-CDC-INFO (800-232-4636) (I started with the call center person, she got a little flustered and assured me someone will call me back) cdc.gov/lyme/quiz/
