I called the hospital to ask after Mara. Shes eating!!! Not much, but its a start. They have her on all kinds of IV fluids and antibiotics and nose drops and such. We should get some blood work results back tomorrow, and theyre going to assess the extent of the infection in her abdomen via additional blood work. Im glad we finally found a veterinarian who was willing to be aggressive enough in treating our precious girl.
