I came across a passage written by Portuguese writer José Micard - TopicsExpress

I came across a passage written by Portuguese writer José Micard Teixeira, Somehow it was credited to Meryl Streep as being the writer on the internet. In any case, the words really resonated with many feelings Ive been having lately about certain FB friends and personal situations. In particular: I no longer have patience for certain things, not because I’ve become arrogant, but simply because I reached a point in my life where I do not want to waste more time with what displeases me or hurts me. I have no patience for cynicism, excessive criticism, lost will to please those that do not like me, pretense, selective erudition, academic arrogance, gossiping, not getting along with those that do not know how to give a compliment or word of encouragement, and having difficulty accepting those that do not like animals. There, my point is made, but here is the full text if you are so inclined to read it in its entirety https://facebook/obviousmag/photos/a.148095353088.107909.69440448088/10152454401218089/?type=1
