I came across this status of this lady Maureen Brown and had to share with you all: I saw my first born Son .. lying there in the recovery room after 3 long days of operative procedures on nearly every bone in his body as well as a crushed spinal cord. His excruciating pain after a near death car accident brought me to a place of surrender that was so completely TOTAL, there really are no words for it. My sight was shifted so dramatically through complete trust that what I was seeing was not REAL. Having practiced the principles of the Course for years .. this was a pivotal experience. 3 long months went by .. while every moment I looked past the lie toward the Truth. I denied the denial of Truth at every moment .. the Doctors were completely perplexed at my Sons moment to moment recovery and suggested that something beyond them was facilitating in his healing. I wasnt the least bit perplexed. I lived in a state of absolute Peace and Grace for the year it took for a complete healing of his body to occur. The REAL miracle was not that my Son lived .. but that my perception of his broken body was simply a misperception.
