I came by today to see you Though I had to let you know If I knew the last time that I held you was the last time, Id have held you and never let go Oh its kept me awake night wonderin I Lie in the dark, just asking why? Ive always been told you wont be called home until its your time I guess Heaven was needing a hero Somebody just like you Brave enough to stand up for what you believe and follow it through When I try to make it make sense in my mind The only conclusion I come to Is that Heaven was needing a hero like you I remember the last time I saw you Oh you held your head up proud I laughed inside when I saw how you were, standing out in the crowd Youre such a part of who I am Now that part will just be void No matter how much I need you now Heaven needed you more Cause Heaven was needing a hero Somebody just like you Brave enough to stand up for what you believe and follow it though When I try to make it make sense in my mind The only conclusion I come to Is that Heaven was needing a hero like you Yes, Heaven was needing a hero...thats you. In remembrance of all our fallen heros from all over the world, not one of you deserved to go this way, but you went the way you loved, not a day goes by where no one thinks of you and you shall never be forgot, today we think of all, all the heros that put their lives on the line to stand what they believed for. My dear Nigel, we came to see you today and watching the way your mum held on broke me even more, we shall remember all you done everyday and not just one you are our hero and ever much more, We love you with every inch of life and you will always be on our mind, you are our heaven, Miss you my dear love.
