I came home from Nashville to glue sticks on our leather couches, - TopicsExpress

I came home from Nashville to glue sticks on our leather couches, underwear in our dining room, and Nutella on our walls. Im working on 2 different books at the same time, with the same deadline of next Monday. Im pretty sure Im going to lose my mind. BUT, when I open up my email and find a message like this from a reader, it makes this whole writing thing worthwhile (I have removed her name for privacy reasons): I dont usually email authors after reading their books. But I just had to tell this to you. There are things I expect to get after I read a book... be it happiness, contentment, etc. But only in your book I was able to receive something I never thought I could have: healing. 3 years ago, my best friend died in a vehicular accident. A drunk driver crashed on the vehicle he was in. In a matter of seconds, his brain was scattered all over the road. For years, I have grieved. I blamed the drunk driver and his friends. They were a bunch of spoiled brats who had nothing better to do with their lives but have too much fun and drink until their livers explode. But thats where the problem lies. I dont know them. I just assumed all that. And through your book, I was able to forgive him even if he didnt really get to ask for forgiveness. Because he never will. He died the same day as my best friend. But now, I feel lighter... because I was able to forgive. Through your book, I was healed. And I just want to thank you for this... for writing the book... for sharing the book to the rest of the world. And I sure now hope that your book wont just touch my life, but also the life of others. Thank you, to this reader, for sharing her story. xoxox
