I came home today and walked in the door. I heard a female voice say Hello. I turned and said hello. No answer. I called out again. No answer. No one there. So I realized I was in an empty house. Hair stood up on my neck as in walked down the hall telling myself I was mistaken at what I heard. In my bedroom, I sat my things down and again, I heard hello. Chills ran through me and I went back into the main part of the house fully expecting an episode of Paranormal State like goings on. I looked around and again, No one there. Standing behind the couch, I said out loud whos here? And from the front side of the couch i heard hello. I peered over the couch and there was my cat Bimbo. When he saw me looking at him, he meowed again. Sounded just like Hello. Laughing at myself now, but Ive learned I am not nearly as brave as I always imagined myself to be.
