I came home tonight after a good discussion about the Muslim faith, terrorism and similarities between world religions. The discussion included Catholics, a Muslim, a Protestant and some undeclared. There were Democrats, Republicans and people with mixed feelings. It was the first meeting of this group that will be monthly. I had fears of what it might become. Those fears were never realized. I intend to give it another chance next month. When I got home I came to Facebook where I have spent a couple of years asking people to not rant. What did I find? Someone posted something that even thinking conservatives do not believe about our President. The reason for my concerns were pointed out by the stupid post. It is a real shame that the average citizen in our country cannot act like the group I met with tonight.
