I came to MH broken scared and hurting. I found love acceptance and family through this ministry as well as great biblical teaching filled to the brim with Jesus and his love for this fallen world. One time in particular stands out to me when I met up with Pastor Mark and he quoted 1 John 4:18 to me There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love. His strong words and soft heart for his congregation has always encouraged my walk with God. Ive grown to know my identity as Gods daughter, my purpose as Gods creation to glorify him and Ive learned how to have grace, love and mercy for others by Mars Hills constant example. I stand by not just a man, not just a building and not by my Christian family. But by God and the work hes done in and through Mark Driscoll and Mars Hill. I love you all and am not going anywhere without Gods leading.
