I came to #USA from #Iran in 1978 as a young student who resented US for its role in 1953 coup against the nationalist government of Dr. Mosadegh that was engineered by #CIA. I did hold all Americans responsible at that time for what was happening in my motherland Iran as the dictatorship of the Shah was replaced by the religious fascist dictatorship of the Ayatollahs which again USA played a major role in bringing them to power as the declassified documents after 30 years reveals more than $150 million dollars help of Carters administration to the Ayatollah Khomeini and his gang! I do not hold all Americans responsible anymore for all problems that people of Iran and many other nations have because of the destructive role of consecutive US governments have had around the #world in undermining the desire of many people for freedom and democracy. After 30 years of living in exile in USA and getting to know well all types of people in #America I know the majority of people are decent and good. Now, I know it very well where is the source of problem inside and outside of USA that freedom and democracy is deprived from thriving. I believe majority of Americans know it too that their government is controlled by those powerful people who have hijacked this greatest democracy on earth. But, the future is bright for America and rest of the world in the age of information and social media networks.
