I came upon a video yesterday that profoundly touched me. Rather than share it right away, I decided to wait until the weekend, when YOU might have some time to watch the story of Zach Sabiech. Zach died last May from a rare form of bone cancer. With only five months to live, he furiously began writing music and lyrics to echo his journey. But what a journey. The lives he touched. His spirituality. His attitude about living...and dying. His unique way to say goodbye to his beautiful girlfriend, his loving friends, siblings and extraordinary parents. And then there was that final song he penned called CLOUDS. In time it would become the #1 hit all across America and even overseas. This coming weekend, I will post a few of the special interpretations given CLOUDS by various performers, including a choir composed of hundreds of singers at the Mall of to the Kennedy Center Honors, to celebrity tributes.
