I came upon on a wreck tonight on the Interstate. A young mother had reached back to give her baby something and loss control of her car. Fourtunately, they were okay, but they were very shook up. This incident reminded me of the death of a high school friend - he wrecked when he reached down to pick up something that he dropped on the floor of his car. He spent the rest of his life paralyzed from the neck down. Distracted driving, I am sure, causes more wrecks that we can ever imagine. Multi-tasking while driivng - is it a skill or plain luck?
