I came upon tese numerous photographs of the 1941 pogrom in the Ukraine (excuse my leaving out name of town), while doing a bit of research on my grandmother, who kn th Ukraine, several years before the 1940s, barely survived a pogrom. Uspeakable, what humans are capable of. Thus far? No apology. Appalling the comments on certain sites regarding these photos. Hatred and genocide is alive and well. Yes, history doesnt repeat itself, maybe, but it rhymes. I would add, think of the most atrocious thing you can do to another being and it will have been done in spades and sanctioned.
