I can attest to the saying eat crap...feel like crap tonight. Ugh. Just proves to me that I have been on a good, healthy plan for the last 7 months and I dont need the Crap. Sorry I missed tonights call, Dayna Cox Waytashek....but I certainly got the reinforcement I needed tonight from the feeling in my belly. My goal date was July 4th. My goal was to lose 60 pounds. I did not make my goal. I missed, I lost 40. But, I am surprisingly not disappointed. I have chosen to focus on every thing I have done so far. I have lost 41 pounds. I have lost track of how many inches have melted away. I have lost 5 pant sizes and 3 shirt sizes. I have increased my activity and made workouts a part of my life. I ran a 5k, on an injured ankle. I feel better than I have in years. My cholesterol levels are great. My eating habits have changed drastically, and I have learned how to make it a way of life. So, I may not have reached my goal on the scale, but I have reached other goals, non-scale goals, and changed my life. I have set another goal weight, and goal date, and I know I can reach them... Drop another 40 pounds by my 42nd birthday. I cant post this without thanking all of my family, (for changing right along with me) friends, and Facebook. Facebook had been my way of holding myself accountable. If I put it out here for the world to see, I stick to it, because thats what I do. The encouragement I have gotten from many of you has helped me on some bad days. Thank you.Cant wait to post my results at the end of the year! If anyone wants to know more about the plan I am on and how you can do this too, send me a message! I would LOVE to share it with you!
