I can be deep when needed, but usually, I am the one who is praying Jesus make it plain.... boy did He yesterday. Had an hour to blow while waiting on Lexi at choir practice so went browsing at a bookstore and self righteously with a sigh bought a slow cooker cookbook to plan meals to feed my always hungry family (another sigh of self righteous put uponness). Secretly i was craving excitement, adventure and something a little more glamorous than cooking, homeschooling and carpooling. When checking out , the young lady waiting on me says......I love this book, wish I could afford it and would love to have time to sit down and plan a few weeks of meals for my kids. This little moment of conviction brought to you by Jesus. Feeling thankful for my husband who happily provides for his family so that this wife can buy cookbooks and ingredients. Grateful that I am blessed with time not only to plan meals but stay at home with my children and spend time with them every day. Appreciative that my Saviour never tires of showing me grace and mercy and continues to shower blessings even when they are not deserved.
