I can deal with this, I can..........Every life you have created, Lord, is a gift to be treasured. When that life is lost to us, it is a loss to be mourned. But you assure us that those we love will be a part of our hearts forever, and that we will be reunited with them in your Heavenly Kingdom. Thank you, Lord, for the good news that lifts us out of the despair we feel. We praise you for your abiding promises and enduring love. Lord, and thank you for the life we mourn today. We know that it is only when we turn to you in our grief that we can experience any relief at all. For in the mist of our pain, you give us a deep abiding peace...a peace that passes understanding...a peace that carries us from this moment into your future. Thank you, Lord, for blessing us with your peace--the only thing that will sustain us through this time of loss and grief. In Jesus name. Amen.
