I can judge you, I can tell you want is good and evil, I can make moral judgments. This is not how one makes friends, by judging, but rather by forgiving and helping. The law can impose action and restrict freedoms on you. This makes for a complacent society, but is it not better when the citizens feel obligate to follow the law rather then completed to. Law and Ethics are not the same thing. So be careful that you giving the law too much power for ethical reasons,least that snake come back to bite you. At the same time, make sure the law does not stride to far from morality.
