I can never fall asleep in time for my morning shift and at 6:30, after two hours of sleep, for the umpteenth time, sure as shit, I despise everything. I spent the last half hour audibly spewing hate at inanimate objects, at the dark of morning, at last nights party (I was not in attendance.) There are few humans who ever have, or ever will, see me in this vile mood, and thank God, because Im sure it is as pathetic as it is unattractive. But just when I thought all was lost, The Kills came blasting up through the floor beneath me, from the bar still open two floors under my feet, and everything was (almost) ok.
