I can never say enough about the St. Francis House. When a person has dropped through the cracks of society St. Francis House is there! They serve a free, nutritious and delicious breakfast and lunch 365 days per year. Theres a day room where the homeless can get off the street and out of the sun or the cold or rain, and take a load off their feet, watch a movie or the news, read a book. They have clothing - sneakers, shoes, underwear, socks, pants, shirts, sweatshirts, winter jackets, boots, gloves, etc. Suits for the job hunters. There are medical and dental services, job search help, resume making, help with applications for employment or SS Disability, and much more, including various creative workshops for writing and art. The list and their contribution is inexhaustive!
