I can no longer say busy week. Its always busy here at legislature. Tuesday and Wednesday are my committee days. Tuesday, Native American day at legislature. Wonderful speeches on Senate floor. I sat with President Ruben Balderas and Vice President Pansy Thomas of Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation. Wednesday Education committee, Diane Douglas spoke. She was magnificent. I see an end to common core in Arizona, My bill, Mr Finchems bill and a few others do not auger well for common core. Education committee lasted 4 hours, 8 bills and a number of speeches. By the way, not a boring moment in those 4 hours. Great chairman Paul Boyer. Today visited, in my office, with ten Sierra Club members, 9 from Scottsdale. We agreed on a number of issues. Prior to Ed. meeting, Commerce. It is going to be really busy and heavy with controversy. Tesla, Uber, Beer and Wine Distributors, Just a few of the issues well be facing. Strong Chairman, Warren Petersen, very much a free enterprise champion. Pro Life day at the capitol, anniversary of Roe v Wade. I am proud to have been endorsed by Arizona Right to Life. Spirited comments by members from the floor. Thats just part of the story this week. I will keep you posted on activities. Just add in Tea Parry meetings, LD 23 meetings and I am in lover with this job. THANK YOU.
