I can remember my mom loving this song. When I was around 5 or 6 I can remember them having a band set up at the back of the Marina at Maxwell Gunter Recreation Area in Dadeville AL. Dont ask how I can remember back that far but I can.... anyway she asked the band to play the song but of course they couldnt. As I got older when the song hit the radio she would sing every word.
