I can remember saying its not time yet, Im only 25 weeks but the pain was saying something totally different... I remember waking up to what looked like a baby doll with a head full of hair. They wouldnt airlift this precious little thing until I could see her at least once. They really didnt think she would survive... 1 lb 14 oz with many complications... I wasnt able to leave the hospital to be with her so every time the phone rang my heart dropped... Chances of survival are very slim Ms Perkins, but shes a fighter. If she survives, her development (walking, talking etc...)will be delayed. Today, 22 years later shes still fighting and defying the odds.... Nothing about this kid is or was ever delayed... She is and will ALWAYS be ahead of her time...Kristen Michelle you may be out my lap, but NEVER out of my heart or prayers... Happy Birthday & many more... I love you!!! Mommy
