I can remember vividly this particular strike is one of the reasons why I decided to come over to UK to continue my education. I said to some of my friends then that it is better for the Government to meet the demands of ASUU rather than bribing them to resume back to work, Now they are back on the same demands from the Government. Im not counting myself being lucky to come over here to study but still feeling the pain on what I see the Nigerian Government as wicked people, with the little experience I have acquired here my dear country should be one of the best in the World yet her name has since been dragged to the mud. There are many lives lost during the cause if the ill-fated strikes, leading many giving up their dreams and many being discouraged. I will employ the president of National Association of Nigerian Students to inform the ASUU president to have all their demands been met before resuming to work, because the 3 months or more spent at home by the students should not be wasted they have paid the price of the future and we should not experience any strike in the educational sector for the next 10 years to come. Finally, to all fellow students it will be better for us to use these time wisely by engaging ourselves in what can add value to our future rather than procrastinating they are going to call off the strike and that will not allow you to achieve anything within these periods.
