I can remember writing opening and closing arguments the night before a trial, organizing my exhibits..... With my client having 20-50 years of hIs/her life on the line..... And I won often(they were ALL guilty except TWO). One was Alexander M. The other was Shirley D. Shirley took her own life one week before her trial. I couldnt tell Shirley, but I had this case in the bag(but couldnt tell her-and until right now I never told anybody else either). I could have won that case on the EVIDENCE, easily. But I couldnt take any chances. I never told anybody, but in the interest of justice..... I bought a witness that I HAD to have in my corner. Shirley was NOT GUILTY. An I LOVED Shirley. Wanna know why I walked away from practicing law on February 8((Saturday), 2005 at around 9:15am? Wanna know why I went off the rails? Wow......Google a hatred Smoldering in the hills ...... My big case that made the New York Times. Shirley and Eddie Vaughn.... Eddie, the scourge I the Earth..... A child molester .....dead. May he burn in Hell. Shirley..... If I had one chance to turn back the clock. You would be alive today. Haven told anyone, but not one day goes by without me blaming myself for the fact that people are DEAD, and I could have done something to save them. Fred Capps..... He would be alive, his kids would have a father..... His wife would have a husband. But I had to follow the law, and I did. This is for another day ...... But the DEATHS took a toll on me, and I finally said F the law(havent told anyone this either) and I did what it took to put a serial killer behind bars(Robert L.) and save lives that I knew I could save. The people I saved dont even know I did it. But they wake up every morning because of Scott Johns. Do I miss practicing law? No way. I could write a book ..... I Damn near HAVE, so goodnight Facebook.
