I can safely say that more than 70 percent of minorities especially black men have been racially profiled. I have been stumped on, brutalised, and also handcuffed by aggressive cop who thought i was and a danger to his life. Recent hollywood couples arrest in South Carolina brought me to the brink of tears. To have the element of your humanity, your human dignity viciously violated prod you close to hate and vegeance. But still you must love. Truly some of my best friends are cops - late officer Zman was one and Pat Walsh is another. Your heart must be ready to forgive at all times. Instead, I am inviting you to join me on augusr 30th at the campus of Warner Pacific College to celebrate those who gave their all so that the civil-rights of all Oregonians are preserved.
