I can say one person who influenced me greatly beside Dr. Olive Taylor was my African Philosophy Professor Dr. Jalloh. I took Black Philosophy with Dr. Russell Adams but enjoyed my African philosophy class much more. We examined and debated about an African Ethos outside of African religion(which was impossible). I loved it because we were using the same tools white elites use to engender a sense of superiority in their children at elite institutions. We looked at how indigenous African thought constructs were and are used to solve the same problems all of humanity faced. Which made you question if you really think like a white person. How deep is the colonisation and can it be repaired? I never thought that I interpreted life through a Caucasion Prism. I forget that so few African Americans think about the topic let alone have someone to guide them through it. The mind is the root of all things. ORI. Ill step back
