I can say this with all of the honesty mustered inside the very fiber of my being. When I first seen the trailers to 300: Rise of an Empire, I was not impressed. Now I have seen it with my own eyes... And I am more unimpressed than I ever have been before. First off, you cannot top the lesson of discovering the meaning to attaining true immortality beyond death or the standard of accomplishing your manhood among brothers set by the original 300 film. That is a fact in every sense of the word and deep down, if you understood the the first film, you know it too!! This was just a film about some other shit that just happened while the real story that mattered took place. If I wanted to see a thirsty chick wage a bloody war over not getting the D of her choosing, I would have prefered watching Fatal Attraction or Casino instead. Yeah it had nice graphics, a decent story, but to be honest it was just another stop-n-go movie with no point other than to get you to shell out more money to fund Ben Affleck putting on the Batman costume that most of you claimed to never want to see him wear in the first place. So congrats everyone, you are all now hypocrites in the first degree.
