I can see the ways that Life has brought me to my non-dual - TopicsExpress

I can see the ways that Life has brought me to my non-dual spiritual path. It is very clear that Life has conspired in a thousand opportunities and synchronicities to bring me to, and support me on this path. And this nondual path operates on a level which is beyond psychology. It is non-personal. And yet at the same time I can see the ways that Life has brought me to psychological growth. It is very clear that Life has conspired in a thousand opportunities and synchronicities to teach me lessons on the personal level as well. So Ive wondered about this: what is the relationship between these two paths? What is the connection between the dual path, which is the realm of relationships, and the non-dual path, which is the realm of pure consciousness? Ive been meaning to ask my teacher about this for some time, but someone just did it for me, although in different words. In this video someone asks a really good question and as I listened I was on the edge of my seat for a few moments, because I wondered if my very non-personal, non-dual teacher would be able to go there. He clearly has a profound understanding of the nondual realm of consciousness, but does he get the psychological realm too? Has he had any experience with it, or contemplated it? Will he be able to answer this question accurately or will I finally see a blind-spot in his understanding? This dude just never lets me down.... haha... His answer is so brilliant and profound. And if this interests you and you watch this video, you may notice, as I do, that his answer comes not just from intellectual understanding, but from a deeper place of understanding. When I watch this video what I see is a man who breathes what he teaches. His teachings arent just in his words. They are just as much in his presence, his gaze, in the subtle nuance of his body language, and so on... Plus I think he looks adorable in the red sweater... ;) But anyway, check this out if you are interested in a rather profound understanding of the root of psychological suffering. [he answers two questions in this video. i am referring to the first one... :) ]
